Specific write-ups I did will be posted on their own.
As a juror, my responsibilities mostly revolved around discussion as well as analytical and evaluative writing. Essentially the job of a juror is to watch as much of the eligible anime as they can, focusing on shortlists and things which haven’t been checked out by other jurors yet, and then discuss them and write about them. Jurors are required to watch every nominated entry to completion as well, and do personal write-ups and discussion on every entry. Then we vote on a ranking, and do write-ups which review the nominated entry with the goal of justifying its placement in the final rankings,
As a host, my responsibilities were to help in various organizational aspects. I helped make decisions early on in the process regarding the future direction for the 2021 Awards during the planning stages, discussing with fellow hosts what changes we wanted to make and things we wanted to keep the same. As the awards began, my main responsibilities were to organize the juries for Slice of Life and Character Design, as well as organize the Jury Discusses posts. In terms of organizing the juries themselves, I was tasked with helping create an environment where jurors could discuss various entries and creating schedules, deadlines, votes, and posts. For the Jury Discusses posts, I created question prompts for the jurors to respond to and do write-ups on, organized their writing into a post, and edited their writing to be presented to the r/anime Subreddit. I edited for the Slice of Life, Shorts, and Movies posts which were posted to the subreddit.
